JJ has a First Class BA in ‘Musical Theatre’ from ‘Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance’, Grade 8 Singing, Levels 1 & 2 Cheer Coaching Qualifications, and an Enhanced DBS.
JJ has worked as a creative across a wide spectrum of the industry.
As a performer he regularly works as an actor, voice actor, comedian, cabaret artist, drag & burlesque performer. He has worked across traditional, immersive and children’s theatre, circus, street theatre, cruise line entertainment and much more.
As a freelance facilitator and teacher he has led workshops in performing, storytelling, circus, acting, and singing for organisations such as Sam Bradshaw Productions, Electric Pink Voices, and Oldham libraries. He is a dance teacher and choreographer for PAVE dance school and Stagecoach Bradford.
He also teaches 1-2-1 lessons across Acting, Singing, Dance and Public Speaking.

JJ wrote, performed and directed an extract of his one man play, ‘The Other F Word’, as part ‘Blast Fest’ at The Dukes Lancaster, where it received great audience feedback (see below). It is currently in development.

JJ also works as an artist in both traditional and digital mediums. He worked as a freelance illustrator for the One Lowry, Many Stories audiovisual installation at the Lowry to celebrate their 25th anniversary, creating additional artwork for the piece ‘Salford’s Greatest Day’. He also takes commissions as a portrait artist. He designed and illustrated the figures of us you see on the website.
